Book Review: Unnatural Exposure by Patricia Cornwell (Kay Scarpetta 8)

A series of killings in Ireland and the USA are linked and Kay Scarpetta appears in both places. She has been on a lecture tour in Ireland and is able to do some more investigations while she is there. Time and an ocean separates the crimes. However, the tenth victim seems to be a copycat killing.

However, it is the next killing that really chills the spine when the victim is found to carry smallpox. Virginia Chief Medical Examiner Kay Scarpetta truly has her hands full now with the stakes set to high.

The killer contacts Scarpetta by email and this is another lead for her niece to follow up.

Scarpetta herself is put into quarantine due to exposure to the disease where she tries to pursue the case and sort out her feelings for Wesley.

How does she play a part in bringing justice to the fore? Well, you will have to read the book!!!

7/10 for me on this one.
