Alex Cross is on the move in this novel outside of his native Washington DC to Los Angeles. He starts off on holiday with his family in Disneyland but of course this is interrupted by a call from his superiors in the FBI.A killer called Mary Smith is on the loose. First off she kills a well known actress and then sends an email to the LA Times that gives details of the murder.
