This novel was published in 2005 and has a background in the September 11 attacks and takes us on a journey through London, New York, Bucharest and Tokyo.Anna Petrescu is fired by the evil banker Bryce Fenston who swindles people out of the valuable paintings. Anna tries to help a British lady called Arabella Wentworth to recover her fortune from Fenston.
However Anna is also being pursued by agents of Fenston as well as an FBI agent who is also trying to chase down Fenston. Who will catch who? Will Lady Arabella get her fortune back? What will happen to Bryce Fenston, how and who will bring him to justice?
